Maintain and carry out CDL training and evaluation for a transportation company.
Conduct CDL Road Test Examinations when necessary, including School Bus Driver
Recruit participants for CDL open enrollment classroom preparation programs
With the Director, negotiate and prepare CDL contract specifications when applicable
Prepare and revise curriculum for the School Bus Driver Training Program to comply
with Federal and State regulations and to maintain certification.
Schedule all classes, students and instructors for all programs.
Work collaboratively to increase training contracts with businesses that require CDL
drivers on a yearly basis
Oversee registration and process student paperwork
Coordinate and schedule road test examinations for CDL and School Bus applicants
Provide an appropriate learning environment, including selecting, ordering and
maintaining educational supplies, materials and equipment.
Evaluate instruction, programs, examinations and outcomes to ensure the quality of
service and continuation of funding.
Make recommendations to Company for improvements to processes and procedures
and ensure the test sites meet Federal and State standards and maintain the test
Preform additional duties as assigned
Write reports as directed regarding pass/fail rates; instructor work load patterns; and
numbers of examinees served
Conduct yearly evaluations of examiners to ensure accurate valid testing
